Electricity Kit

A complete circuit consists of three parts: a conductor (wire), and energy source (battery), and their usage (movement of the propeller or lighting of the bulb). When electrical particles move from one point to another, it is called electricity. Electricity that moves is called current. Some materials allow electricity to move through them. They are called conductors. When you attach a wire [conductor] to a battery, it converts the chemical energy from the battery into electrical energy. A closed circuit allows current flow through the motor or bulb holder, causing the propeller to spin or the bulb to light. An open circuit (breaking the circuit/removing the clip) stops the flow of the current.

Series circuit flows in one direction. Parallel circuit has two paths in which the current flows. These simple experiments demonstrate the basic concepts of electricity.
